A Wood Ducks Reflection
Well this was not this little ducklings momma! It strayed way too far from its family and this mom was giving it a lesson on what happens when you go off on your own... which in this case was being picked up by your leg and dunked under the water several times! This mother had older chicks and she only had two left so I am sure she saw first hand what happens when little ones run off on their own.
